This unit introduces the concepts and applications of geophysical and geochemical techniques at a variety of scales in mineral exploration. The objective is to develop knowledge of relevant exploration techniques including their strengths and weaknesses, and practical skills in the analysis of multiple data sets using computer-based methods. These skills are applied to exploration targeting of commodities such as gold and nickel in areas of outcrop and under cover. -- Course Website
