This unit explores the nature of internal corporate venturing or 'intrapreneuring' within private and public sector organisations. Topics include the middle manager as intrapreneur and innovator; the CEO and strategic levels as entrepreneurial leaders; developing an intrapreneurial culture within the organisation; public sector intrapreneurs; corporate venturing; skunk works; corporate incubators; process and product innovation within the organisation. Case studies are used as a basis for teaching. Students are required to prepare a case study of a participating organisation and to critically evaluate its findings. -- Course Website
