Students gain an understanding of the kinds of crimes that can be committed using computers and against computers. It focuses on the various legal, regulatory and societal issues surrounding the online environment. Students will discover that computers often hold evidence relevant to the proof of a great many offences, many of which are not computer crimes, but where the computer has been used as the 'electronic filing cabinet'. -- Course Website
