This unit critically examines the legal rules and processes relating to the resolution of complex financial and parenting cases, with particular attention being paid to the way that legal rules are generated from the appellate process. There will be consideration of the legal requirements for a successful appeal, the different appeal/review processes and the rules relating to further evidence and rehearings as background to the discussion of the substantive legal rules.
