This unit builds on information learned in LAWS3376 Introduction to Family Law. The legal, ethical, social and psychological aspects of the family are explored. It provides an opportunity for students interested in practising in the area of family law to gain knowledge of and insight into the processes used in legal proceedings involving families. Students are also introduced to processes involving child protection, violence restraining orders and other criminal proceedings. -- Course Website
