Drawing on the lengthy history of human rights legislation in England, more recent developments in North America, Europe and New Zealand as well as regional and international regimes, students in this unit work collectively to assess the current status of human rights protection in Australia and explore the policy issues involved in developing a Human Rights Act. -- Course Website
