This unit follows on from LAWS1104 Introduction to Law and is for students who are planning a career in accountancy, business management, marketing, banking, finance, public service or in related professional and business endeavours. The unit begins with a look at fiduciary relationships and the law of agency. It then reviews alternative legal structures used for the operation of businesses. Finally, students are introduced to certain aspects of business finance and bankruptcy law. -- Course Website
