This unit expands students' competency in linguistic skills paying special attention to complex linguistic structures and expressions used in both spoken and written Japanese, and develops a deeper understanding of Japanese culture and society through reading authentic Japanese materials. Students also have the opportunity to undertake a project that requires them to use Japanese resources and present their findings and ideas in both spoken and written forms. -- Course Website
