This seminar provides students with skills to develop and execute research projects in Italian Studies and to communicate research in appropriate written and oral forms. The unit examines major aspects of developing a research project: (1) formulating a research question in relation to existing knowledge; (2) design of research methods appropriate to the research question; (3) ethical requirements for research; (4) developing formal research proposals; and (5) oral and written research communication appropriate to the discipline. -- Course Website
