This unit follows on from ITAL3409 Italian Studies 9. Students further develop advanced skills in oral and written Italian and further deepen their understanding of Italian society and culture.<br/><br/>The unit focuses on translation as a method of language acquisition at advanced levels and as a skill in its own right. Students translate texts representing a diversity of genre, content and style from Italian into English and English into Italian.
