This unit develops knowledge and skills for the evaluation and management of organisational information systems (IS) and information and communication technologies (ICT). The focus is on principles and methods which business managers can apply to make effective decisions about IS and ICT in a rapidly changing technological environment. Students develop knowledge of the nature and business context of significant information systems; essential elements of the ICT underlying IS; organisational structures and practices for management of IS and ICT; techniques for evaluating current and proposed investments in IS and ICT; and methods for keeping up to date with developments in this field. -- Course Website
