This unit follows on from INDO1406 Indonesian 6 and leads to INDO2408 Indonesian 8. It is designed to bring students to a sophisticated level of proficiency in both formal and informal Indonesian. It extends students' speaking, reading and writing skills through exposure to contemporary literature, films, academic Indonesian texts and journalism. <br/><br/>In this unit students are introduced to the world of Indonesian literature and independent filmmaking. They read a popular Indonesian novel and study three Indonesian movies in detail.
