This unit is taken over two semesters and parts 1 and 2 must be completed to fulfil the requirements of the unit.<br/><br/>Part 1 covers aetiology of disease, cell injury, abnormal lipid and glycogen metabolism in cell injury, cell and tissue pigments, programmed cell death and necrosis, acute inflammation, healing and repair, chronic inflammation, tuberculosis and other chronic inflammatory diseases, biological effects of radiant energy, thrombosis, embolism, agenesis, hypoplasia and atrophy, hypertrophy, hyperplasia and metaplasia, regeneration and neoplasia. Towards the end of semester there is an introduction to diseases of the haemopoietic and cardiovascular systems.<br/><br/>Part 2... -- Course Website
