Many of the most pressing problems facing humanity in the twenty-first century require an understanding of the principles and practice of a range of disciplines across the sciences and humanities. In this unit, students develop skills in quantitative and qualitative methods and other modes of inquiry from the sciences and humanities. They bring these together to investigate one or more current problems facing humanity at a local, regional or global level. -- Course Website
