Students acquire an understanding of the fundamental principles of hydraulics, and develop the ability to apply this knowledge to solve a wide range of engineering problems. The topics covered include the equations of fluid motion in bulk and differential form; forces on structures; dimensional analysis in fluid mechanics; experimental design; an introduction to turbulent flow; boundary layers; and pipe flow. -- Course Website
