This unit covers particle and rigid body kinematics and kinetics presented through case studies of various mechanical components, mechanisms and machines. Both planar and three-dimensional dynamics are considered, including gyroscopic behaviour. Momentum and energy methods are applied to illustrate different approaches to solving problems. -- Course Website
