This unit considers the principles and applications of leaching, solution purification and metal recovery to the hydrometallurgical processing of metals, ores and concentrates. It also considers practical industrial processes, and discusses overall processes for the recovery of gold, copper, nickel, uranium etc. related to the Australian mineral industry. -- Course Website
