This unit focuses on the development of knowledge and skills essential for establishing and maintaining effective relationships for learning and teaching. This includes understanding the significance and complexity of relationships and communication practices with students, parents and colleagues, managing classroom behaviour and learning management, establishing respectful and safe learning environments and understanding motivation and engagement.
