In preparation for their second professional practice, students attend lectures and workshops in classroom management. This is followed by a six-week school placement in their major and minor curriculum areas. They teach upper secondary classes in the major and lower secondary classes only in the minor. Students are expected to implement a variety of approaches and techniques in the classroom. Under the guidance of the mentor teacher and the University supervisor, they are encouraged to engage in reflective practice to develop their teaching styles and confidence in their management techniques.
