This unit provides students with an overview of social science curriculum for Years 11 and 12 in Western Australia. The curriculum documents in economics, geography, history and politics are used as a basis for programming and lesson planning, focusing on the development of appropriate learning strategies, selection of resources and the development of assessment programs. Cross-curricular topics such as middle schooling, literacy and numeracy, information technology in the classroom and other relevant issues are also included. -- Course Website
