Both the energy sector and the water sector are of fundamental importance to the economy, and climate change will bring profound changes to these sectors. The unit includes the following three modules: (1) the economics of climate change—an overview of the costs and benefits of climate change, and how these costs and benefits are measured and aggregated; (2) energy and climate change—an introduction to energy economics and the implications climate change and climate change policy have for energy production; and (3) economics of water management—how economic approaches can be used to understand and evaluate water demand and supply adaption options in an environment of climate change.... -- Course Website
