This is a core unit covering the foundations of oral pathology. It provides an understanding of disease processes in the teeth, face and jaws, and their clinical manifestation. Students are educated in clinical presentations and progression of oral disease and relate the information to underlying pathological processes in order to understand the biological basis for the management of such conditions.
