This unit gives students the opportunity to work in a professional media context over an eight week period (three days a week). The objective is to give students the practical context in which to develop the skills obtained over the first two semesters of the degree, to make a direct contribution to publication within the industry, and to give students an entry way into the profession. Placements are across media disciplines: radio, television and print/online. They are arranged by negotiation between the industry partner, the student and the University. The University has a number of pre-arranged placement opportunity for high quality candidates. -- Course Website
