The first part includes evaluation of primary load cases and load combinations, structural analysis, design of connections, plastic analysis design, steel truss structure design, and steel portal frame design, etc. The second part is mainly on prestressed concrete design which consists of prestressed concrete beam in bending, load balancing and deflections, post cracking performance of beams, ultimate bending and shear strength, estimation of prestress losses, design of anchorages, multi-span prestressed beams and flat slabs, and deflection and cracking of beams and slabs. -- Course Website
