Students demonstrate ability to design and simulate components of LNG, LPG and cryogenic process plants; understand and simulate various refrigeration cycles; have an understanding of LNG markets and history; have an understanding of re-gasification and gas grid specifications; and have an understanding of technical and business aspects of LPG and mid-stream industries. Topics include an overview of LNG, its markets and its history; processing of natural gas for subsequent LNG production; refrigeration fundamentals; multi-stage refrigeration loops; industry refrigeration cycles (e.g. APCI, cascade); regasification and gas grid specifications; and LPG and mid-stream processing industries. -- Course Website
