This unit comprises two parts—health and safety; and risk engineering. The first part includes (1) safety case health and safety (historical context), the safety case regime, the safety case; (2) facility description, location, meteorological and ocean (metocean) conditions, structure or vessel layout, staffing philosophy, primary functions, hazardous substances/inventories, safety features and systems, rescue; (3) safety management system leadership and commitment, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, review and improvement; and (4) formal safety assessment hazard identification, performance standards and acceptance criteria, hazard or consequence analysis, risk analysis.... -- Course Website
