This unit provides an in depth introduction to working with stakeholders. This unit focuses on working with Indigenous communities, particularly on how to work positively with Australian Aboriginal people. This requires developing an understanding of how archaeology has operated in the past, the nature of Aboriginal knowledge in relation to archaeological information, and an understanding of the basic level of cultural literacy required for ethical and professional archaeological practice.
