This unit focuses on archaeological theory at an advanced level of study for students conducting honours level study in Archaeology. Students meet weekly to critically discuss set key readings. Students develop critical skills through writing a critique of key readings presented in an annotated reading list. Students are assessed on their annotated reading list and a major essay reviewing the theoretical aspects of a substantial archaeological monograph. -- Course Website
Prerequisites: Students must have completed a major in Archaeology. The prerequisite entry into the Archaeology honours program is at least 65 per cent in the Level 3 units of the Archaeology major.
