This unit is taken over two successive semesters and parts 1 and 2 must be completed to fulfil the requirements of the unit. Students can commence the unit in either semester 1 or semester 2.<br/><br/>This unit is designed to enhance scientific communication skills with both scientists and the general public by showcasing the student's research findings. Under the direction of their supervisors, students prepare and present their findings, at the standard of a national scientific meeting, in a 20-minute seminar to a general scientific audience.
