This unit covers the basics of musculoskeletal anatomy relevant to the understanding of good workplace design and vulnerability to injury. It examines the microscopic and gross structure of organ systems supporting vital functions and the interface between the environment and the body, such as those of the respiratory system. It also provides practical instruction in the techniques of measurement of the body (anthropometry) which optimise the fit of the workplace to the worker. -- Course Website
