This unit is an extension of ANHB2215 Biological Anthropology: Human Adaptation and Variation. Emphasis is placed on human reproductive biology and ecology in relation to growth, development, behaviour and evolution. Particular attention is paid to using principles of life history theory, parental investment theory, and parent-offspring conflict theory for developing new perspectives in family wellbeing, public health and social policy. -- Course Website
