This course introduces students to the relationship between development and inequality in world politics. It explores historical experiences of development, theories of development and contemporary issues, such as trade, hunger and the role of women in development. Throughout, the course focuses on critically investigating competing concepts and approaches to development, and considers those in the context of the struggles for justice. -- Course Website
