Not Offered 2013<br/>This course aims to equip students with an overview of some of the major historical, cultural, social, literary and philosophical movements of the Francophone world. in using examples from a variety of cultural texts, students will gain a sense of the way in which different kinds of societies emerge out of distint historical processes. Student s will learn to adopt critical stratigies to ananlyse texts in a directed manner by examinining how Francophone identities are mediated through cultural production.<br/>Note: Course offering may be cancelled unless a minimum of 20 students enrol. -- Course Website
