This course aims to introduce students to the characteristics of the legal systems of Asian nations. Focus is on three components: structural, substantive and cultural. The nations to be covered include: China, Taiwan, Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia and Japan. -- Course Website
