In the BEnvSc honours year you will conduct an independent research project within your area of interest in environmental science, under the supervision of an academic staff member. This part of the BEnvSc program is designed to extend your independence as a scientist and give you the skills that will enable you to understand research and its demands in environmental science, allow you to make the transition to research higher degree study, and prepare you for entry into the workforce with a considerable degree of independence.
