This course provides a broad knowledge on (i) evolution of electricity market, related rules, generator and retailer behaviours and risk management; (ii) power system security/stability issues. Stability or security of the power system is the most important issue in power system operations and management either in a regulated or deregulated environment. System stability analysis is one of the essential skills for an electrical engineer working in the power industry.
