This course provides an introduction to human systemic anatomy through the study of the structure and function of the body's organ systems. Each system will be discussed with particular emphasis upon systems integration and how modern morphological and quantitative approaches are used in a variety of scientific research and medical disciplines. The human condition will be used as the major example to complement and emphasise the links between the structure and function of the vertebrate body.
