Subject Area: Korean Studies<br/><br/>This course provides a supportive environment for students to reflect on what they have learned and to demonstrate their skills and knowledge in a learning portfolio/e-portfolio comprised of oral presentations and written essays. The topics for oral presentations and essays will be based on general topics drawn from the language and contextual courses. These may include: a particular figure or event of cultural significance; folk or elite artistic or literary expressions; cinema; sociolinguistic or sociopolitical issues in contemporary Korea; environmental issues; religion and beliefs; gender roles and issues; Korean language and linguistics.
