Subject Area: Politics<br/>This course can also be studied in the following specialisation: Globalisation Studies; International Relations<br/><br/>Focuses on the relationship between business and politics in contemporary market economies, primarily Australia and the United States. Some attention is devoted to Russia and the international environment. It has a theoretical component, in terms of two particular themes: the relative roles of the state and autonomous groups in driving policy; and the relative roles of interests and ideas in driving social behaviour.
