This subject examines the major animal production systems in Australia, with a particular focus on the impact of management practices on the health and welfare of animal populations. Students will develop an appreciation of the economic drivers of these industries, measures of productivity utilised within these industries, and the role of the veterinary profession in ensuring the health and well being of animals. -- Course Website
