The objective of this subject is to provide the student, under supervision, to investigate a selected topic and gain further special knowledge in a discipline field of animal science, for example physiology, nutrition, behaviour, molecular biology. On completion of this subject students should have: in-depth knowledge of a specific contemporary topic in animal science; the ability to analyse and report on the topic in a manner appropriate to the methodology developed; and an advanced capability for development of processes for acquisition, management, analysis, integration and interpretation of data and information. -- Course Website
