This subject introduces students to the skills necessary to conduct rigorous and original research, and effectively communicate their research findings in a clear and systematic manner. The subject concentrates on the preliminary stages of thesis writing: selecting and refining a research topic; developing appropriate research questions/hypotheses; selecting and using appropriate research methods. -- Course Website

Prerequisites: A 70% average in the first three years of the Bachelor of Urban Planning & Design
