This unit explores the events of embryonic development and the embryonic development of the digestive, urinary, reproductive and endocrine systems. The gross, topographical and sectional anatomy of the organs and pathophysiologic concepts and specific pathophysiologic processes associated with the digestive, urinary, reproductive and endocrine systems will also be addressed. A key component of the unit is the development of image recognition skills in relation to the cross-sectional, coronal and sagittal display of these organs and structures. -- Course Website
