The overall theme is how human body systems act together (integratively) in complex body functions. Study is of four major functions: Endocrine control, Reproduction, Exercise, and Digestion and Nutrition. The first study area is the physiology of hormones and how they co-ordinate and integrate the body in health and disease. The second area is the physiology of reproduction in males and females. The third area details how many body systems (cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, muscular, nervous) function together for performance during exercise. The final study area is the physiology of digestion, extending on to nutrition and human health. -- Course Website
