This innovative and engaging unit aims to enhance students' understanding of the broad nature of child well being and to allow students to explore the multi-disciplinary nature of child welfare and the responses needed to support and enhance child well-being, safety and protection. The unit will draw on expertise from early childhood, social welfare, accident prevention and health promotion to distinguish between the complexities of 'abuse', 'accident', 'child protection' and 'education' and consider their interplay in socially inclusive strategies for making children safe and for optimising their physical and mental health and well being.<br/><br/>Content will be presented in five... -- Course Website
