The Honours year aims to develop analytic abilities, research skills, and communication skills, as well as provide students with advanced knowledge in specific areas of stem cell technologies and tissue repair, immunology, germ cells, embryology, ovarian and fetal physiology. In this unit, training is in the context of a scientific project, with an aim to train students in cutting edge scientific techniques as well as developing broad generic skills. Students undertake a supervised research project of a publishable standard that forms the basis of a thesis due at the end of the year. Students will also present seminars on their research throughout the year. -- Course Website
