The unit examines the law and practice of debt capital markets transactions. The course focuses on Australian law but also deals with English law as well as EU law and US law aspects as they are relevant to Australian issuers accessing the international capital markets.The course examines how debt capital markets work. There is an in depth analysis of the structure, the documents and the regulation of each of: Australian domestic capital markets; Australian issuers accessing the Euro markets; and Australian issuers accessing the US markets.There will also be a discussion of various other markets which are able to be accessed by Australian issuers. -- Course Website
