Students to explore how globalization has and continues to reconfigure international and local contexts, as well as their own individual lives, where practices and policies of adult learning are being debated and redesigned. Students will be introduced to competing interpretations of globalization and development, considering the meaning that these concepts have in relation to market-driven economies, diversity and equity issues, and civil society and social movements. -- Course Website
