In this unit there will be an investigation of selected topics from recent research relating to learning music. Students may consider : learning theories and their application to music education; the nature of creativity in music and its educational implications; issues of giftedness and talent in music education; critiques of recent arguments for transfer effects between music learning and other fields; and other current research issues. -- Course Website
