This unit builds on coursework undertaken in EDF4837 Visual art and design education 1. It enables pre-service visual art and design teachers to build skills in curriculum design through teaching studio-based practice. It explores a range of issues with respect to classroom pedagogy in the visual arts that are specific to aesthetic education, including a discussion of the interdisciplinary relationships between artists, designers and teachers, and their impact for conceptions of student experience. -- Course Website
